Please Carefully Note:

Season Application Window
Spring/Summer (April - August 15)  December 1 – January 15
Fall/Winter (September – November) May 15 – June 15

NOTES:

  • Fee $3 per hour. A minimum of one (1) hour is required for Ball Fields Practice Permits Applications.
  • Requests received after January 15 and/or June 15 will be assigned “on a first come, first served basis” after regular window requests are assigned.
 
IMPORTANT: Application Submission Guidelines: (Spring/Summer Season: April 1 - August 15 No Exceptions)
  • If you are a new team coach and do not have your team roster, please fax (301-495-2484) or mail your application (pdf) to the Permit Office. Please DO NOT use this online application.
  • Permit Office will finalize all Local Ballfield Practice Requests. Your application request is not final until your request is processed by the Permit Office.Please wait to finalize your practice plans until you receive your PERMIT contract.
  • If your field choices are unavailable, applications will be returned immediately.
  • Applications received prior to the start of of the submission window will be not accepted.
  • Applications received during the submission window will be treated equally based on the choices provided on the application.
  • Applications received after the close of the submission window will be processed on a first-come first-serve basis after the applications received during the window have been processed and mailed out.
  • Incomplete Applications WILL NOT be processed.

Important: Please look at the ballfield listing prior to submitting your request. We highly recommend that you visit your selected field choices. A $48.00 change fee will be charged if changes are made after we receive your applications. Additionally, we strongly recommend that you carefully view the fields descriptions listed below the map of the field you are requesting as fields designations may change seasonally.
Note: For Practice - Times are scheduled on the hour when necessary.
Each team is allotted 1 hour, 1 day per week only.
